AIMTEK INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AND AWARDS
Press Release: The prestigious AIMTEK International Conference and Awards concluded successfully on June 7th, 2022 at Radisson Blu, Yas Island Abu Dhabi. Organized by Biz Events Management, in association with Aries Group of Companies, the one-day exclusive summit contemplated the technological advancements in the industry. The AIMTEK International Conference and Awards created an apt innovative platform to exchange knowledge, create ideas, and celebrate the notable achievements made by the industry leaders in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Renewal Energy.
H.E Fareed Lutfi, The Secretary General EIA, and the Secretary General Gulf Insurance Federation delivered the keynote address. The one-day conference helped connect the experts and colleagues from around the world and share the recent developments in advance inspection and maintenance strategies. The conference helped professionals to gain extensive knowledge on effectively managing their assets to deliver value and increase awareness of modern asset management and advanced inspection technologies used in Oil and Gas production. It also landed them the platform to meet with exhibitors displaying their latest equipment and services and interact with NDT practitioners, researchers, developers, providers, and users.
Engrossing panel discussions were held where expert speakers deliberated on a wide range of issues ranging from the unique challenges and opportunities that accompany digitization and safeguarding documents through digitalization, advanced robotic techniques that propel purpose-built pipeline integrity, non-intrusive corrosion monitoring, visual asset management, nonlinear ultrasonic methods for damage characterization, site optimization techniques for inventory preservation and idle equipment and so on.
The much-anticipated International AIMTEK International Awards were presented to the following commendable entities that had made significant contributions to the industry and demonstrated innovation, vision, and leadership in their endeavours.
The most prestigious award of the event – The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to H.E. Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group Chief Executive Officer, ENOC. Individual Awards were also presented to Mr. Siddharth Jain, Field Development Team Leader, SNOC (Rising Star – Individual), Mr. Waleed Rashad, Chief Operating Officer – Power, Oil & gas, Target Engineering (Best Project Head) and Mr. Fawaz Alsahan, Chairman of Instrumentation Standards, Saudi Aramco (Excellence in Professional Service),
AIMTEK Organizational awards were presented to Emirates Technical and Safety Development Centre (Training Institute of the Year), Eddyfi Technologies (Best Original Equipment manufacturer), Doosan Babcock (Rising Star Organization), AUDEX Pte. Ltd (Maintenance Contractor of the Year), Fabtech International Ltd (Excellence in Industrial Service), and ENOC (Best Employer of the Year).
