KOMIPO INVITED BIDS FOR 3.9 MILLION TONS OF 5700 NAR AND 5400 NAR COAL FOR 2018 - 2020 DELIVERY
 COALspot.com: South Korea state-owned utility Korea Midland Power (KOMIPO) issued an another new tender for total 3,900,000 Metric Tons of min. 5700 NAR and min 5,100-5,400 NAR coal to be burnt at Boryeong or new Boryeong power plant for three years starting from 2018.
According to the tender, the total quantity of coal to be purchased is 750,00 Metric Tons (MT) of minimum 5700 kcal/kg NAR coal and 550,000 Metric Tons (MT) of Min. 5,100~5,400kcal/kg NAR coal per annum starting from CY 2018 to CY 2020 basis one Single Fixed Price Based on FOBT.
The Price offered by Bidders is available for 1st CY. The Price for the remaining CY from 2nd CY (Jan 2019 – Dec 2019) to 5th CY(Jan 2022- Dec 2022) shall be mutually negotiated. KOMIPO has a right to extend the contract term by additional two(2) years subject to mutual agreement.
The coal shall be shipped at the port of loading in accordance with the following schedule:
