THE INDEX BASED COAL SALES & PURCHASE STRATEGY MAKES MORE EFFICIENT, SAYS 55.17% END-USERS
 Considering the current coal market condition, the Index based coal sales & purchase strategy make more efficient was deemed the winner by 57.03% of voters, while just 14.84% said they believe the Index based coal sales & purchase strategy make no efficient, according to a COALspot weekly Poll of voters who visited COALspot during 24 October 2016 to 30 October 2016.
The poll was conducted from 24 October 2016 to 30 October 2016 found that 43.75 percent of participants expected the Index based coal sales & purchase strategy make significant efficient, versus 14.84 percent who picked "No, not at all efficient".
Among the respondents, 85.16 percent of respondents picked the answers either, “Yes significantly”, “Yes slightly” or “May be”.
28.13 percent of participants believed that "May be" the Index based coal sales & purchase strategy make more efficient considering the current coal market condition compared to other pricing strategies.
A 43.75 percent of total participants strongly believed that the Index based coal sales & purchase strategy is significantly efficient to buy or sell coal considering today's coal market trend.
End-Users
Some 55.17 percents of likely end-users of coal expected “ Yes, significant efficient " when buys coal, based on Index versus 6.90 percent picked the answer "No, not at all efficient".
Some 37.93 percents of likely end users picked the answer "May be" and no end-user was picked the answer "Yes, slightly".
Coal Producers
Some 51.61 percent of likely coal producers picked “significantly efficient or slightly efficient“ answers and 16.13 percent of likely coal producers, says “No, not at all” efficient to sell coal based on index strategy considering the current market trend.
This poll results reflect that end-users as well as producers are of the opinion that, the Index based coal sales & purchase strategy make more efficient compared to any other pricing Strategies to buy or sell coal particularly in this current market condition.
Coal Traders
Among the likely coal traders, some 66.67 percent, says "Yes, it is significant efficient" when buys coal based on index strategy while, another 20.51 percent of coal traders believed "it is not at all efficient" to buy coal, based on Index strategy.
A 12.82 percent, traders were answered “May Be”.
COALspot opinion poll was conducted online between 24 October 2016 00:01 GMT and 30 October 2016 23:59 GMT.
The latest poll responded by 128 visitors, 31 who identified themselves as coal producers, another 29 identified as coal end-user and 39 respondents who identified themselves as coal traders.
