RICHARDS BAY COAL SWAPS FOR Q1,Q2 AND Q3 DELIVERIES FIRM THIS PAST WEEK
.jpg) COALspot.com: Q1’ 2016 API4 FOB Richards Bay Coal swap rose month over month and week over week.
The Q1’ 2016 FOB Richards Bay Coal swap rose US$ 2.45, or 5.15 percent over a month, and now stands at US$ 50.02 per ton. According to AsiaClear OTC coal swap's report released on 22 January 2016, Q1’ 2016 swap was up 4.64 percent compared to 15 January 2016 closing price.
FOB Richards Bay Coal Swaps
API4 FOB Richards Bay coal for (average) Q2’ 2016 delivery swap increased month over month and week over week, this past week.
According to SGX data released between 28 - 22 January 2016, the average Q2’ 2016 swap up $ 1.07 (2.38%) a ton Month over month and US$ 2.24 per ton week on week.
FOB Richards Bay coal swap for Q2’ 2016 delivery closed at US$ 46.12 a ton on 22 January 2016, the data from SGX shows.
Q3’ 2016 delivery swap also rose US$2.85 per ton to US$ 43.65 per ton week over week.
The Q3’ 2016 swap up average $ 0.30 per ton to US$ 43.65 on 22 January 2016 compared to US$ 43.35 closed on 22 December 2015.
FOB Richards Bay Coal Swaps for Q1,Q2 and Q3 deliveries remained firm.
Q1’ 2016 vs Q3’ 2016
SGX Asia Clear OTC FOB Richards Bay coal Q3’ 2016 delivery swap was closed US$ 6.37 (12.73%) per ton lower compared to average Q1’ 2016 delivery price of US$ 50.02 per ton on 22 January 2016. While, the coal swap for Q2’ 2016 delivery, closed average US$ 2.47 (5.36%) per ton higher than Q3’ 2016 delivery price.
The API4 FOB Richards Bay Coal swap for Q1’ 2016 delivery has achieved a highest price of average US$ 50.02 / MT on 22 January 2016 and has entered its lowest level (US$ 48.12 / MT) on 18 January 2016.
