Q3' 16 FOB RICHARDS BAY COAL SWAP SLIGHTLY UP FOR THE THIRD STRAIGHT WEEK
 COALspot.com: API4 FOB Richards Bay Coal swap for delivery Q1’ 2016 up month over month and fell week over week.
The Q1’ 2016 swap was up US$ 0.70 (1.41%) month on month to US$ 50.25 per ton according to AsiaClear OTC coal swap's report released on 27 November 2015.
FOB Richards Bay Coal Swaps
API4 FOB Richards Bay coal for (average) Q2’ 2016 delivery swap declined month over month and flat week over week.
According to this past week’s SGX data, the average Q2’ 2016 swap down $ 0.05 (0.10%) per MT Month over month during 23 - 27 November 2015.
FOB Richards Bay coal swap for Q2’ 2016 delivery closed at US$ 47.95 per ton on 27 November 2015, the data from SGX shows.
Q3’ 2016 delivery swap gained week on week and flat month on month.
The Q3’ 2016 swap remained same at US$ 47.05 on 27 November 2015 compared to US$ 47.05 closed on 20 October 2015. However Q3 delivery price up US$ 1.20 per ton from 20 November 2015 and closed at US$ 47.05 on 27 November 2015.
Q1’ 2016 vs Q3’ 2016
SGX Asia Clear OTC FOB Richards Bay coal Q3’ 2016 delivery swap was closed US$ 3.20 (6.37%) per ton lower compared to average Q1’ 2016 delivery price of US$ 50.25 per ton on 27 November 2015. While, the coal swap for Q2’ 2016 delivery, closed average US$ 0.90 (1.88%) per ton higher than Q3’ 2016 delivery price.
The API4 FOB Richards Bay Coal swap for Q1’ 2016 delivery has achieved a highest price of average US$ 50.28 / MT on 24 November 2015 and has entered its lowest level (US$ 50.05 / MT) on 25 November 2015.
