YEAR 2015 CFR SOUTH CHINA COAL SWAP SHOWS A WEAK TREND THIS PAST WEEK
 COALspot.com: API 8 CFR South China Coal swap for Q1’ 2015 delivery has decreased US$ 3.74 (-5.63%) month over month and US$ 2.19 (+3.37%) week over week.

South China Coal swaps for average Q2' 15 delivery lost US$ 4.48 per mt month on month on 7 November and closed at US$ 62.55 a ton. The swap for average Q1’ 2015 delivery lost month on month, week on week and on day according to SGX AsiaClear OTC coal swap's reports released week ended 7 November 2014.
Average Q1’ 2015 delivery swap closed at US$ 62.73 a ton on 7 November 2014, a US$ 3.74 (-5.63%) lower from a month. Average Q4' 15 delivery swap has lost US$ 2.26 week on week and closed at US$ 63.12 per mt.

API 8 CFR South China coal swap for average Q2’ 2015 delivery closed at US$ 62.55 pmt on 7 November 2014, a $ 0.18 (-0.29%) lower compared to Q1’ 2015 closing price of US$ 62.73 for the same period.
Q4' 2015 vs Q1’ 2015
API 8 CFR South China Coal swap for average Q4’ 2015 delivery closed US$ 0.39 (+0.62%) higher compared to average Q1’ 2015 delivery price of US$ 62.73 on 7 November 2014.
According to this past week's swaps trend, average Q1, Q2 & Q4 2015 coal swaps lost compared to last week’s closing. According to current swap trend, the coal prices in the year 2015 will also be similar to current level or lesser and showing no improvement signals. Market analysts are in opinion that, 2015 prices can fell below this year price levels as the coal outputs are expected at the same levels of this year.
China is also to introduce import duty of 6% for thermal coal. China’s coal demands are expected to lower than 2014 level due various reasons.
API 8 CFR South China Coal for Q1’ 2015 delivery swap was achieved a highest price (US$ 64.50) on 3 November 2014, and swap has experienced a lowest closing (US$ 62.73) on 7 November 2014.
