INDONESIAN COAL SWAPS SLIDE THIS PAST WEEK
 COALspot.com: Indonesian coal swaps for average October 2014 decreased US$ 0.90 (-1.68%) day on day and US$ 1.80 (-3.31%) per mt week on week. The swap was also lost US$ 1.70 (+3.13%) month on month according to AsiaClear OTC coal swap's reports released last Friday.
FOB Indonesia coal swap
Sub-bit FOB Indonesia coal swap for (average) January 2015 delivery fell day on day and lost US$ 1.50 (-2.70%) per mt week on week, and lost US$ 1.40 (-2.52) month on month as per closing price on 29 August 2014.
October 2015 delivery swap also lost US$ 1.55 (-2.64%) week on week and US$ 0.55 (-0.95%) and US$1.30 (-2.22%) day on day and month on month respectively.
Asia Clear OTC Sub-Bit Indonesia coal January 2015 delivery swap closed US$ 1.55 (+2.95%) higher compared to average October 2014 delivery price of US$ 52.60 on 29 August 2014. In the meantime, the coal swap for October 2015 delivery, closed average US$ 4.65 (+8.84%) higher than swap for October 2014 delivery for the same reported period.
On 29 August, coal swap for delivery January 2015 closed US$ 0.65 lesser from the previous day closing and US$ 1.50 lower than 22 August 2014 closing of US$ 55.65 per MT. October 2014 delivery swap shows a negative trend day on day, week on week and month on month.
Indonesian coal swaps for 2014 deliveries are struggling to stand, but 2015 trends show a firm stands.
The sub-bit Indonesia's coal swap for October 2014 delivery has achieved a highest price of US$ 54.30 / MT on 25 August 2014 and has entered its lowest level (US$ 52.60 / MT) towards end of week closing or on 29 August 2014.
Richards Bay Thermal Coal swap
SGX API 4 FOB Richards Bay Thermal Coal swap for delivery October 2014 lost US$ 1.10 week over week and closed at US$ 70.35 on 29 August 2014. January as well as October 2015 delivery swaps also failed to perform positive lost US$ 1.35 and US$ 0.50 respectively.
Newcastle Thermal Coal swap
SGX API 5 FOB Newcastle Thermal Coal swaps October 2014 delivery lost US$ 1.10 per MT week on week on 29 August 2014, closed at US$ 56.55 per Mt. October 2015 delivery swaps closed at US$ 60.00, a $ 3.45 higher than October 2014 closing price.
