INDONESIAN THERMAL COAL SWAPS SEEING SOME POSITIVE TREND
 COALspot.com: Indonesian coal swaps for average September 2014 increased US$ 0.20 (+0.36%) day on day and US$ 1.30 (+2.41%) per mt week on week. The swap was also gained US$ 0.45 (+0.82%) month on month according to AsiaClear OTC coal swap's reports released last Friday.
Sub-bit FOB Indonesia coal swap for (average) January 2015 delivery also followed September trend by gaining US$ 0.65 per mt (+1.15%) day on day, US$ 1.20 (+2.15%) week over week and US$ 0.15 (+0.26%) month on month as per closing price on 8 August 2014.
September 2015 delivery just lost US$ 0.75 (-1.25%) month on month, but, the swaps gained US$ 0.40 (+0.68%) and US$ 0.75 (+1.28%) day on day and week on week respectively.
Asia Clear OTC Sub-Bit Indonesia coal January 2015 delivery swap closed US$ 1.60 (+2.89%) higher compared to average September 2014 delivery price of US$ 55.35 on 8 August 2014. In the meantime, the coal swap for September 2015 delivery, closed average US$ 3.90 (+7.05%) higher than swap for September 2014 delivery for the same reported period.
Coal swap for delivery January 2015 on 8 August closed US$ 0.65 higher from previous day closing and US$ 1.25 higher than 1 August 2014 closing of US$ 55.75 per MT. September 2014 delivery swap shows a positive trend day on day, week on week as well as month on month.
The sub-bit Indonesia's coal swap for September 2014 delivery has achieved a highest price of US$ 55.45 / MT on 5 August 2014 and has entered its lowest level (US$ 55.05 / MT) on 4 August 2014.
SGX API 4 FOB Richards Bay Thermal Coal swap also gained US$ 0.45 day on day and closed at US$ 73.50 on 8 August 2014. SGX API 5 FOB Newcastle Thermal Coal swap gained US$ 0. 40 per MT day on day on 8 August 2014, closed at US$ 57.20 per Mt.
