GBCE, A COAL UPGRADING TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPER, APPOINTS RICHARD BULMAN AS PROJECT DIRECTOR
 Press Release: GB Clean Energy Ltd. (GBCE) announced today the appointment of Richard Bulman as Project Director. In this capacity Mr. Bulman will have overall responsibility for coordinating the design, construction and operation of GBCE's LiMaxTM coal upgrading plants in Indonesia. Mr. Bulman previously managed coal preparation and quality management for coal projects in Indonesia for BHP Billiton and coal preparation optimization for coal projects at Worley Parsons.
Mr. Bulman has over 40 years experience in coal mining, analysis, handling and processing and spent 8 years in Indonesia evaluating and managing coal preparation projects. He has in depth experience with Indonesian coal and is expert in managing local conditions to meet the requirements of the market.
GBCE Indonesia has exclusive rights for Indonesia to the LiMaxTM coal upgrading technology developed and owned by its parent company GB Group (www.gbce.com).
LiMaxTM is the only coal upgrading technology in the world proven to produce a coal capable of competing in the seaborne market. The LiMaxTM technology is a low cost, additive-free, pyrolitic process which converts high moisture, low calorific value coal into high calorific value coal. The end product is a natural coal rock which is completely hydrophobic and retains the non-friable characteristics of the feedstock coal so it can be extensively rehandled and transported long distances. GBCE's first full industrial scale LiMaxTM plant has been operating successfully in China since mid 2012 serving third party repeat customers. In 2013, GBCE successfully upgraded 3000 tons of Sumatran coal at its plant in China.
GBCE Indonesia is currently in discussions with various Indonesian coal mining companies regarding potential joint ventures to develop LiMaxTM plants at their mines. Mr. Bulman will play a key role in building this business.
