API 8 CFR SOUTH CHINA COAL SWAP FOR Q2 AND Q3 DELIVERY SHOWS A DECLINE
 COALspot.com : API 8 CFR South China Coal swaps for average Q1’ 14 delivery gained 0.63 percept d-d on Friday 29 November 2013. The CFR South China Coal swap for delivery Q1’ 14 and Q3’14 increased day on day as well as week on week according to SGX AsiaClear OTC coal swap's reports released week ended 29 November 2013.
SGX has launched SGX Thermal Coal Futures on 21 Oct 2013. SGX’s daily swap daily report shows that, Q4’ 14 delivery swap was gained on day and week but lost on month.

Q3 2014 delivery price closed at US$ 81.60 a ton on 29 November 2013, a US$ 0.75 higher from a week and US$ 0.65 from a month. Average Q4’ 14, API 8 CFR South China coal shipment price lost US$ 0.30 on month but gained US$ and US$ 0.60 on day and week respectively.
API 8 CFR South China Coal swap for average Q3’ 2014 delivery closed US$ 0.82 (0.99%) lesser compared to average Q1’ 2014 delivery price of US$ 82.42 on 29 November 2013. In the meantime, the average Q4 2014 coal swap has closed US$ 0.47 PMT (0.57%) lower than Q1’ 2014 swap for the same period. According to this week swaps movements, Q3 and Q4 coal swaps were showing a decline in prices compared to Q1 prices.
API 8 CFR South China Coal for Q1’ 2014 delivery swap has achieved a highest price (US$ 82.42) on 29 November 2013. In the meantime, swap experienced a lowest level (US$ 81.01) on 25 November 2013. Later part of week shows a positive trend compared to early part of this week.
API 8 CFR South China Coal swaps for Q3 & Q4 2014 deliveries show a unfavorable trend for coal producers compared to Q1 price level. However Q1’ 14 delivery price shows a very positive move month on month.
