TAIWAN'S PLASTICS GROUP FORMOSA TO IMPORT 1.37 MILLION TONS OF COAL FOR Q1' 14
 COALspot.com: Taiwan's Formosa Plastics Group is inviting bids for total 1.37 million mt of coal for 1Q’ 14 for its various plants in Taiwan, China and Vietnam.
Vietnam Plant (Phumy Port)
According to Formosa’s “Invitation To Bid” - COAL20131105, the company is seeking 200,000 mt of coal to be loaded through handy size and panamax vessels to be shipped at the port of loading before 2014/03/31.
Bidders are requested to offer one single price for up to a total tendering quantity on CFR Phumy Port, Vietnam.
Formosa is looking for the coal with gross calorific value not lesser than 5750 kcal/kg on net calorific value basis, total moisture 18% max on as received basis, Ash Content max 15% on air dried basis and total sulphur not more than 1% on air dried basis for its Vietnam plant.
Bidders are required to submit the bids on or before 2013/11/18 - 23:59 hrs (Taipei Time).
Taiwan plant (Mailiao Port)
In the meantime, “Invitation To Bid” - COAL20131106 of Formosa is seeking 450,000 mt of coal to be loaded through Cape size vessels to be shipped at the port of loading in before 2014/02/28.
Bidders are requested to offer one single price for up to a total tendering quantity either on CFR Mailiao Port, Taiwan or on FOB basis except for Indonesian coal. Indonesian coal suppliers are required to offer only on CFR Mailiao Port, Taiwan.
Formosa’s one of the Taiwan port is looking for the coal with gross calorific value not lesser than 6000 kcal/kg on GAR basis, total moisture 18% max on as received basis, Ash Content max 15% on air dried basis and total sulphur not more than 0.8 % on air dried basis.
Bidders are required to submit the bids on or before 2013/11/18 - 23:59 hrs (Taipei Time).
Taiwan plant (Taichung Port, Taipei Port, Kaohsiung Port, & SUAO Port)
Formosa’s “Invitation To Bid” - COAL20131104 for its other plants in Taiwan are seeking total 300,000 mt of coal to be loaded through handy size & Panamax vessels to be shipped at the port of loading in 2014/01/01 2014/03/31.
Bidders are requested to offer with quotation in a single fixed price up to feasible amount of coal both FOB Port of Loading basis and CFR Port of Discharging basis (Taichung Port, Taipei Port, Kaohsiung Port, & SUAO Port, Taiwan).
Formosa is looking for the coal with gross calorific value not lesser than 6000 kcal/kg on GAR basis, total moisture 18% max on as received basis, Ash Content max 15% on air dried basis and total sulphur not more than 0.8% on air dried basis.
Bidders are required to submit the bids on or before 2013/11/18 - 23:59hrs (Taipei Time).
China plant (Houshi Port, Zhangzhou)
Formosa through its “Invitation To Bid” - COAL20131103 for its China plant is seeking 420,000 mt of coal to be loaded through Panamax Vessels to be shipped at the port of loading in 2013/11/20 2014/03/31. Vessel max DWT should not more than 73,000mt.
Bidders are requested to offer with quotation in a single fixed price up to feasible amount of coal both FOB Port of Loading basis and CFR Port of Discharging basis (Houshi Port, Zhangzhou, China).
Formosa is looking for the coal with gross calorific value not lesser than 5850 kcal/kg on GAR basis, total moisture 18% max on as received basis, Ash Content max 15% on air dried basis and total sulphur not more than 1% on air dried basis.
Bidders are required to submit the bids on or before 2013/11/13 - 23:59 hrs (Taipei Time).
