SUB-BIT INDONESIA COAL SWAPS: UP 0.55 % WOW; CFR SOUTH CHINA COAL CONTRACT: UP 0.23 % WOW
COALspot.com - Sub-Bit Indonesia coal swaps (FOB ) for average Q2’ 2013 delivery has gained 0.55 percent and CFR South China coal shipment 0.23 W-O-W as of Thursday, 28 March 2013, according to the data released by AsiaClear OTC coal swaps.
A commodity swap is a financial agreement whereby a floating, or spot; price is exchanged for a fixed rate over a specified contract period.
DSP of SGX AsiaClear OTC Coal Swaps - Sub-Bit FOB Indonesia Coal
Sub-Bit Indonesia coal swaps (FOB ) for average Q2’ 2013 delivery has gained 0.55 percent W-W and 0.62 percent on D-D on Thursday, 28 March 2013, AsiaClear OTC coal swap's report said. Sub-Bit FOB Indonesia coal swaps for average Q2’ 2013 delivery was opened on 25 March 2013 at US$ 61.25 pmt and closed at US$ 61.59 per MT on 28 March 2013.
Q4’ 2013 deliveries for the sub-bit Indonesia coal swap was opened at US$ 63.10 pmt on 25 March 2013 and closed at US$ 63.03 per MT on 28 March 2013. Average Q4’ delivery price has lost US$ 0.07 PMT W-o-W and US$ 0.27 D-o-D.
In the meantime, the sub-bit Indonesia's coal swaps for Cal 2014 delivery lost 0.10 percent W-o-W and 0.41 percent D-o-D.
AsiaClear OTC Sub-Bit Indonesia coal swap for average calendar 2014 delivery closed US$ 3.79 (6.15%) higher compared to average Q2 delivery price of US$ 61.59 on 28 March 2013. In the meantime, the Q4’ 2013 coal swap has closed US$ 1.44 (2.33 %) higher than Q2 ‘ 2013 swap on 28 March 2013.
The sub-bit Indonesia's coal swaps for Q2’ 13 delivery lost US$ 4.18 (6.35 %) M-O-M.

DSP of SGX AsiaClear OTC Coal Swaps - CFR South China Coal
CFR South China coal shipment for average Q2’ 2013 delivery price gained 0.23 per cent W-O-W and lost 0.39 percent D-O-D as of Thursday, 28 March 2013.
The average Q4’ 2013 delivery price has also gained W-W but lost D-D. The contract for the Q2’ 2013 price gained US$ 0.19 per MT W-o-W and closed at US$ 82.19 a ton on 28 March 2013. Q4 CFR South China coal shipment prices gained US$ 0.42 PMT W-W and but lost US cents 0.33 per MT DoD.
CFR South China coal shipments (average Q2’ 2013 delivery) was opened at US$ 82.00 per MT on 25 March 2013 and closed at US$ 82.19 per MT on 28 March 2013 gained US$ 0.19 PMT in a week. The CFR South China coal swaps for Q4’ 2013 delivery also followed Q2 trend gained 0.50 percent (US 0.42/ MT) W-o-W.
CFR South China coal swap for average Q4’ 2013 delivery closed US$ 1.78 (PMT) higher compared to average Q2’ 2013 delivery price. The calendar 2014 coal swap has closed US$ 4.87 (PMT) higher than average Q2 2013 swap.
The CFR South China coal swaps for Q2’ 13 delivery lost US$ 4.59 (5.28%) M-O-M.
