SPRING COAL PROCUREMENT 2013 IS ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE
 In 2012, “Steady Growth” had set the keynote for China’s economic development. Guided by the principle of progressing steadily, downstream industries, like steel, power and construction had entered a low-growth or negative growth mode. Besides, China’s coal import had increased for the fourth consecutive year, which, together with the enlarged capacity of hydropower, had confronted China’s coal industry with multiple severe challenges. In 2013, national economy keeps a steady pace, new-styled urbanization gains more momentum, thermal coal becomes more marketized, cancellation of coke export duty re-kindles coke producers’ confidence….Under the changing policy environment, coal trading is undergoing adjustment in both structure and form. Against this background, the Spring Coal Procurement 2013, organized by CBI BIZ, is to take place on March 19-22 at Xiamen of Fujian, China.
Meanwhile, a special visit will be paid to coal end users of Fujian and Guangdong, through which you can have zero-distance contact with the downstream buyers. As two major gateways of South China, Fujian and Guangdong boast unique geographic advantages that make them the passage of imported coal to China. The rapidly developing economy magnifies the two provinces’ appetite for coal. According to the 12th Five-year Development Plan of Energy Resources, it’s expected that in 2015, coal consumption of Fujian can reach over 100 million tons, while that of Guangdong will reach 190 million tons.
