2ND ANNUAL INDONESIA MINING 2013 CONFERENCE
Bringing Indonesia's Mining Stakeholders Together Towards Improving Mining Investment Climate & Operations
Following the success of the inaugural edition, this year's event, 2nd Annual Indonesia Mining 2013 Conference will take place between 25 - 27 February 2013 at the Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali, Indonesia.
This annual conference, hosted by global business leadership institution, Clariden Global, will gather 100+ leading miners, investors, financiers, regulators and other mining stakeholders, under the theme "Minimizing Invest m en t Risks & Optimizing Mining Operations During Turbulent Times ".
"This year's event will provide mining industry stakeholders, both current and prospective, with a common platform to work towards managing critical regulatory and operational constraints into 2013, identifying available long term opportunities as well as improving security of investments amidst ongoing uncertainty." commented Mr Lo Bok Yan, Managing Director of Clariden Global.
The mining community is going through a global period of turbulence, as a recovering demand & prices impact short term profitability and rising resource nationalism increase regulatory uncertainty & risk for mining investors all over the world.
Indonesia remains a land of opportunity in Asia for the long term investor, with its abundant natural resources, ranging from coal, gold, copper, nickel, bauxite, iron to tin. However, going into 2013, there is a high perceived risk on mining investment and operations amongst potential investors and miners.
It is imperative for miners, both domestic and foreign, to work through these challenges together with key industry stakeholders, in order to keep abreast of minimizing how mining operations are being impacted and to be able to capitalize on long term opportunities still available within Indonesia’s rich reserve of natural resources.
Meeting this need, 2nd Annual Indonesia Mining 2013 Conference will feature case studies, keynote presentations, panel discussions and an interactive in-depth workshop to cover a range of pressing issues and challenges that face mining industry professionals this 2013.
Practical Presentations and Discussions this 2013 will revolve around:
- Benchmarking world supply & demand trends for both coal and non-coal, and its impacts on Indonesia's mining industry into 2013
- Working towards managing recent regulatory requirements for the mining industry
- Reviewing the latest clarifications expected into 2013 on current national and regional government regulations for the mining industry
- Updates from current and prospective miners, producers and explorers in Indonesia on how they are moving towards production amidst uncertainty and working with industry stakeholders
- Sourcing for financing in turbulent times and towards improving investor confidence
- Identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for investments & potential partnerships in Indonesia's mining industry amidst ongoing market consolidation
- On-the-ground operational and technical considerations for improving mining operations in Indonesia
This event will be a timely opportunity to gain on-the-ground insights on how recent developments in Indonesia's mining landscape is impacting investments, ongoing prospective opportunities & mining operations direct from leading mining stakeholders over just two days this 2013. This summit is supported by the AmCham Indonesia and Indonesian Geologist Association (IAGI). Event Sponsors this 2013 are PT Freeport Indonesia, iSolutions, PT Outotec Technology Solutions, Bis Industries, The Executive Centre and Asia Minerals Corporation Limited.
The 2nd Annual Indonesia Mining 2013 Conference will take place this 25 - 27 February 2013 at the Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia.
