ORPHEUS RAISES $2.24M TO ADVANCE INDONESIAN COAL PRODUCTION ASSETS
 • $2.24 million raised from a placement to new and existing institutional and sophisticated investors from Australia and overseas
• Funds to be used primarily to rapidly advance Orpheus’ portfolio of near term production assets in the South Kalimantan Kintap area
COALspot.com - Orpheus Energy (ASX:OEG) has today announced that it has raised $2.24 million through a share placement to international and domestic institutional and sophisticated investors.
Orpheus also said in its statement that, it will issue 17,227,198 shares at 13 cents per share. The placement will be made within Orpheus’ available 15 per cent capacity as defined under ASX listing rule 7.1.
Proceeds of the capital raising will be used for the acquisition and development of satellite mines in the South Kalimantan Kintap area, drilling and exploration for the B34 Project in East Kalimantan and for working capital.
Executive Chairman Wayne Mitchell said: “We are very pleased to be able to welcome a range of new international investors to Orpheus, as we continue our strategy of developing a quality portfolio of production and near term production assets in Indonesia.”
